CONSTRUCTION OF A MODERN HAJJ VILLAGE:

The National Hajj Committee (NHC) is putting in place plans to construct an Ultra Modern Hajj Village in Accra for Hajj operations. The Hajj Village would have Modern Offices, Stores, Restaurant  and facilities for Banking and Conference activities.

CONSTRUCTION OF MOSQUES IN DEPRIVED COMMUNITIES:

The NHC seeks partnership with  institutions and individuals to construct Mosques and Libraries in deprived Muslim communities in Ghana. These mosques and libraries would be equipped with modern Islamic Literature aimed at enlightening the Muslim Ummah on Islamic Affairs and Hajj and Umrah issues

 

HAJJ MEDICAL TEAM PROGRAMME:

In order to provide avenue for Ghanaian Muslims to perform Hajj, the NHC has initiated a programme of recruiting Muslim Medical Professionals into the annual Hajj teams who provide voluntary medical services to pilgrims and use the opportunity to perform Hajj free of charge.

 

HAJJ TASKFORCE PROGRAMME

The NHC engagges the services of active Muslim Youth who work as Volunteer Taskforce assisting pilgrims on carriage of Luggage, Movements and Traffic Control both in Ghana and in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Members of the taskforce are given the opportunity to perform Hajj free of charge, while providing voluntary services to pilgrims.

 

HAJJ DAWA’A TEAM PROGRAMME

The NHC engages the services of Muslim Scholars who join pilgrims during Hajj period to preach and guide pilgrims on Islam and Hajj Rituals. Members of the Dawa’a Team are also given the opportunity to perform Hajj free of charge while providing voluntary preaching and guidance services to pilgrims.
